After much research, I discovered that internet radio is hidden in the iTunes sidebar by default! I have created the playlist as you described with the radio 4 stream in it. The playlist will play on my Mac but it is marked as “not eligible for the iCloud music library”, meaning that it will not play on my HomePod. Is there any way to get an internet radio playlist to play in iCloud music library (and therefore on HomePod)? Thanks Harry
