Hi, you can only do this if you jailbreak your phone. The Springtomize
tweak will hide this, and many other stock apps which you might not
want. However jailbreaking isn't quite available for iOS6 in case you
are using that. If you are on iOS 5.1.1 or less, you can certainly do this.
