Hello, Yes you do need to worry about the case when considering wireless charging. If you use a thicker case like the Defender wireless charging will not work. I cannot recommend a case because I have the 10S and not the 10R I purchased a wireless charging stand rather than the pad that lays flat and I like it just fine.
