One example that a client is using is that she sends a text to her boyfriend 4 times a day reminding him of some health activities he needs to do. She used to have to say the whole thing every time she wanted to send it. With Siri Shortcuts, after sending it once, it showed up in the Siri Shortcuts and she recorded a short phrase and now, she just says that short phrase and the text is sent. In this case, it doesn’t involve a series of apps, but it does become a big time saver.

Maria Hi all, having woken up to another day where this issue hasn’t been fixed for me, I gave it some serious attention and now have Siri shortcuts working again. If they’re still not working for you, try this and see if it helps. Go to Settings, Siri and change your input language. In my case, I changed from English New Zealand to English US. Next, invoke a Shortcut, it should work. Finally, switch back to your preferred Siri input language and Shortcuts should remain working.
