Training Siri is not just using her more.
You set up Hey Siri in the Siri and Search Settings.
Once you enable that, you will be prompted with phrases to say, and then
when you have done all 5 steps, there is a done button in the upper right
that you want to double tap on.
After that, you can just say "hey Siri" and not have to press the home
button.
Some older phones have to be plugged into power for this to work, but since
the 6S I think, it works without being plugged in.

I think that the best way to train Siri is just continue to use her/it/him,
speak a little slower than normal and keep the same level or tone of voice,
when repeating something not clearly understood. I think the more you make
use of Siri, the better results you'll get.
