My husband just loves his iPad and was using it, then left the apartment to bring me home from cards.
At home, I was filling a new Wallet, and I thought I was hearing Voice Over. My phone was in my pocket though. Finally, he asked me if I knew how to get it off. He knows I have the Short Cut on my phone, also he knew we could ask Siri, but maybe he didn't think of that right off. So I directed him to settings, etc., until he got to it and turned it off. Then all was well. We have no idea what made it happen. He wonders if that ever happened to a sighted person who might have ended up just throwing the device away. I said I would think they'd contact Apple or go by a phone or Apple store to get help.
