Personally I don't use Playlists a lot and I still think Apple has more music, but ultimately these Playlists are curated content so it depnds on your taste. As for Voiceover coming through the Bose speaker that can't be changed, any Bluetooth speaker will stream any audio and you would need an Airplay/Airplay 2 capable speaker to do what you want. With Airplay only the music is streamed on the speaker and Voiceover remains on the phone. Personally I find there is good use for both.

This weekend, I received as a present a bos sounlink mini--it's such a powerful and tiny little speaker, and I got it paired to my IPhone with minimal effort. That said, voiceover continues to play through the bos speaker, which means that while I'm streaming music to the speaker, I can't really use my phone for any other reason. is there a way for the music to come through the speaker and for voiceover to continue coming through the phone itself? or is that just wishful thinking? Secondly, a friend of mine has spotify, and I've found that the playlists available to him are often better than those I can find on apple music. Can anyone comment as to their experience with apple music vs. spotify? could you justify having both? I say this knowing it's obviously a matter of preference. Also, is spotify accessible enough? Thanks very much in advance, and I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season! Shermeen -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
