That was what I tried to do. It did not work. I flicked to the side and would finally get to Delete, but that wouldn't work. I reset the phone, still no go. Then someone mentioned rotor, that didn't work. Someone suggested flicking up, which I did, which didn't work, but then I flicked down, and it did. I even cleared all. I am so relieved. What a pain and an unnecessary problem, as far as I can see.
