If you want to first select a letter, a word, a line, a page, or all, turn the rotor to words or lines, and flick up with one finger to go back knowing that the cursor will be at the beginning of whatever you hear. Then, turn to text selection, and flick up or down to the amount you want to select by, and flick right to select.
