To me it makes very little sense to have two major music subscriptions since you pay twice for 99% duplication. I prefer Apple Music because I often simply use SIRI to tell it what I want to listen to, also my wife likes to listen to Filipino music and while I admit we haven't really checked out Spotify, Apple Music has a lot of it so we have a family membership and at $14.99 Canadian that is a pretty good deal especially now that I picked up $300 worth of iTunes gift cards for 17.5% off during Cyber Monday week and this means the music subscription is only $12.37 a month for both of us.
