Thanks much, Sieghard. He was able to restore it partially but now he has to fill out a form where he has to fill in his street address, postal code etc, he is just wondering if he could bypass this filling out of the form.

Then try again. It should let him try 2 or 3 more times. But, Apple makes it very clear from the beginning that passwords are required to have at least one capital letter. It is a tedious process to reset a password so hopefully the reboot will work.
