Sadly, that is the reality of braille devices V.S. standard keyboards.

I have both a Logitech keyboard and a Brailliant 14 to use with my phone. I am 
finding that while the Brailliant does a lovely job of helping me navigate the 
phone, it’s a little touchier as far as connection is concerned. First of all, 
if I don’t turn on the Brailliant first and let it come all the way up, before 
I even touch the phone, it won’t connect at all. Even after a connection is 
established, sometimes it cuts out on me in the middle of something; sometimes 
after this happens it comes back on its own and sometimes not. On the other 
hand, the Logitech can be switched on when I’m already in the middle of 
something and it pretty much doesn’t fail.

Is this normal Bluetooth behavior? Is it a function of the Brailliant? Is there 
something I can do to optimize the connection with the Brailliant? I really 
prefer Braille output and input, plus the Brailliant is smaller and easier to 
take along.
