The Amazon Basics is 700 watts. The G E is 900 watts and that is the one
that I currently have. Yes, it is a bit shy on wattage and I was worried
about that, but all and all, it does a good job. The last microwave we had
was 1200 watts. We set this new one up with no help and have as of yet to
label it. I will do this soon, but you can use it with no trouble with
Alexa. The model is:
GE Microwave - JES1097SMSS

Hope this helps.

The bad thing about that connected microwave and it's not an insignificant
one is that it's something like only 750 wats. For heating up things,
passable, but not much beyond that. If you want a well performing microwave
that you can also cook in or at least reheat evenly, you need at least 1000
wats.
Wattage
Microwave wattage equals power. In general, the higher the wattage, the
faster and more evenly your food will cook. Most microwaves sit somewhere
between 600-1,200 watts. Larger, more expensive microwaves tend to have a
higher wattage, so this is a price and size consideration that can strongly
influence microwave cooking performance.

I recently bought a Panasonic model with 1250 wats which is really strong. I
was blowing things up until I got the feel for it. It's not connected in any
way, but has tactile buttons which is a huge help and was what I was looking
for instead of a smooth panel. It's 2.2 cubic feet. It's a beast and takes
up a lot of counterspace, but I have a big kitchen so that was no big deal.
Anyway, other than that Alexa microwave that recently came out, I'm not
really aware of any sort of other connected microwaves. I do have a
Bluetooth kitchen scale that I use all the time and I believe that the same
company also has other connected devices, but no microwave.

Looks like wifi connected ovens and multipurpose devices, but no microwave.
I'm not in need of replacing my oven, but if I were looking for one, I might
even be interested in looking into it since the iOS app is pretty accessible
for the scale anyway.
Good luck.

We just bought a GE microwave that can be controlled by Alexa. It is
wondrously hands-free, although there are buttons behind one of those lovely
flat plastic panels if you want to find and press them.
