Hi Ed, You say that all keyboards are not accessible but then you recommend Flicktype. That is a third parety keyboard just like Google or any other and it is made for blind users.

I have tried many keyboards. If you are just looking for a simple typing experience stick with the iOS keyboard. I personally love the FlickType keyboard. It’s created for blind and low vision users and is a gesture based keyboard. It allows me to type as quickly as my sighted friends, I can actually keep up in group messages. There are a ton of blind braille users that swear by the M-Braille keyboard. It is a great keyboard if you are good at braille, this too like FlickType rely's on a gesture interface to insert spaces and punctuation. You could also try the Microsoft owned Swift Key. This keyboard rely’s on learning your typing habits. The predictions above the keyboard get smarter the longer you use the keyboard and can predict entire sentences for you after it learns your typing style. They claim it also can learn how you talk with individual contacts. I have not found this to be true. These would be the three keyboards I would encourage you to try. There are many keyboards on the App Store. Different key strokes for different folks.
