Well now, I would be disappointed if there was no rebuttal. I didn't see anyone, certainly not Jonathan forcing your hand to accept his promotion. I would much rather hit the delete button if I wasn't interested. As Sandy responded, who has the time to look in multiple places when surfing other sites that may not be nearly as accessible can be a true waste of time. What this post has done for me as a blind person is research and educate myself based on all the great links provided by Jonathan and then I will be positioned to make my own decision on if Aira is for me or not!

During Cara's excellent and even-handed leadership of this group, we had many occasions where app developers would engage with us about their apps, especially when those apps were blindness specific. Since this particular app was one that has come up here on multiple occasions, with some mentioning it as one of their top apps of 2018, it seemed appropriate, on-topic, and of value to interested members to let them know about recent developments, especially a free trial. This has been welcomed on other groups. It's a difficult and false distinction to separate the app from the service, when the app is the vehicle for that service. Further, the service itself would in the past have been considered on-topic, because one uses it on an iPhone and it is blindness specific. Anyway, I've learned a great deal over the last 9 years, so thanks to everyone for that.
