Thanks, Anna. I just discovered that the problem was caused because I had turned on Scroll View (in Appearance settings along the top of the Books screen). When this is enabled, double tapping on the bookmark will not tmove tge screen to the page you bookmarked but rather to the start of the chapter instead. And turning Scroll View off solves the problem and double tapping on a bookmark does indeed take the screen to the page you want! Hey, ho! Harry
