Any chance that your volume has been lowered, or that a three finger double tap wasn't done in error?

The speech stopped working. I tried using the home key to get it back. That didn't work. I pluggedthe unit into my pc and went to universal access and made sure that the speech options were checked. After properly disconecting, I got no speech. Occasionally on a screen I have seen a speech off message and if you touch it, you will loose speech. I didn't hear that tonight. Obviously, the phone is no good in its present condition. I have a couple of questions. If I restore to factory defaults will I loose all of my texts? Also, will I loose my access to my router. My router interface is graphical and that would mean I would need sighted assistance to get back on my own router. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
