That's surprising, because I know they had one at the NFB national convention last year, and I looked it over.
I'm interested in one, just need to work on financing, as my funds are tight. One of my fellow local chapter members has one that I looked at again recently. I am impressed by the crispness of the display, the fact the cells can be easily felt, a factor for me in attempting to read Braille. It could double as my Bluetooth keyboard. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at the A.P.H. booth and discovered that they had no Orbit Reader 20s on hand for visitors to explore. While I was there, 2 other people walked up and asked about the Orbit Reader 20 and were equally disappointed at the lack of a demo model. I did, however, get a look at an entire host of other BRaile displays, from other companies, including the latest version of the Focus 40. Now, that, is a beautiful device. Regardless, I was sorely disappointed at not having an opportunity to test drive the Orbit Reader 20 Braille display.
