I have tried everywhere to locate instructions for this so perhaps it cannot be done. I belong to a group that sends messages to the entire group, there are 14 of us. As I gradually determine who is sending the message, I'd like to convert that unfamiliar phone number to a contact name. I know how to create a contact from a single text message, it changed in iOS 12 but I've done that. But when they're in a group, multiple recipients, I can't get to a More Info button to create a contact. So, is there any way to single out one text and create a contact? More simply, I can single out one, but can I then create a contact for it or do I have to do this annoying task by hand? Thanks so much for any thoughts on this!
