Hi Allison and Kevin, It is my understanding that Whispersync does do this for Audio Books between devices.
Allison, if you do have both an iPad and an iPhone and are an Audible subscriber, why don't you try it and report back what you discovered. I currently have only 1 iOS device so I can't test this until I buy an iPod Touch in October when the new ones come out which is something I am seriously considering. I could, of course, sell my unlocked 4S 64 Gig which is not yet a year old, add what I would pay for an iPod Touch 64 Gig and get an iPhone 5... hmm, decisions, decisions. In any case, if you do find out whether this works, Allison, please do post it as I am curious about this and since I listen to a ton of Audible books this feature actually is one of the reasons why I am considering an iPod Touch again.
