Not sure, just try it and you’ll find out if It works via Wi-Fi, it might since it is some sort of Voice over Internet protocol they use. By the way, I found texting a driver at least every time I tried it rarely works well, most of the time when I’m finally in the car and I say that I texted them they tell me they didn’t see it. I always just call and that way they’ll pick up.
