I gather then, you also locked the phone once you got on the bus?

If so, then figuring 25 minutes equals 10 percent of your battery would mean
a little over six hours of battery life.  That is better than the 4S was
when it first came out, but not a big improvement either.

I completely get where you're coming from. It was about 25 minutes, and I
cleared the app switcher once I got on the bus, so nothing was needlessly
running in the background and potentially draining the battery further.
