thanks Malcolm for posting your findings. That should mean now that anywhere in the world that allows for free matter for the blind can receive the Fopydo Scanning Stand. I know Seeing AI thinks it cannot see the document unless it is about 18 inches or more above the page, which is excessive. But, it can do a very good job in the right setting. Hands-down though for my money, Voice Dream Scanner is the best. And, it wasn't really intended to compete or replace those other apps. It was intended to allow people to bring documents with images directly into Voice Dream Reader. But that shows what a brilliant developer can accomplish. Richard
