Voice Dream Reader does have the ability to bookmark mp3 files being played on it. With your file open and playing, place focus on the add bookmark button which is in the upper right corner of the screen and double tap. A bookmark will be added at the current location. With the file still open, swipe right among the controls at the top of the screen until you hear bookmarks and double tap to get a list of those you've set. Navigate to the one you want and double tap to go to it.
