Many thanks, Richard. I do have a home button on my iPhone 8 so I'll press that and the power button to capture the screen to my photos. Sorry I forgot to mention my iPhone model with my original post.

If you have a home button, make sure first that screen curtain is not on, then press the home and power buttons together. You should hear the shutter sound and you will now have a screen shot in your photos. If no home button, I believe it is the side/power button and the up volume button together.
