Hi, I had a sighted friend who has an IPhone x try thte tripple tap of the power button but voiceover didn't start speaking. She found that she had to enable voiceover in the settings then configure the sidebutton in settings as well before tapping the power button would work.
Based on what little we did last night, it looks like there are some definite differences in how to interact with the IPhone X and above compared with my IPhone 8.
