Hi,
I have managed this before, but it isn't working for me this time: I don't
delete my old emails, for my own reasons, so, if I don't keep up with them I
can end up with thousands of messages marked as "unread". Now, say I want to
mark them all as "read", I can hit edit, at the top of the inbox, go down to
the bottom where it says "mark all" enter that and choose Mark as unread". So
far so good, but I am running two phones, one, my 8 with a sim card and my 6
with no sim, but both are on wifi. No matter what I do to mark my messages as
"read", the setting never sticks, and I can only guess it is because of the 2
phone situation. I am pretty sure that I can mark them successfully if the 6 is
left off of wifi, but as soon as it is connected to the web everything goes
back to "unread" status. Can anyone give me the right protocol for dealing with
this, I know I did it last year after a holiday and several thousands of
messages clogging up my inbox!
Thanks, Sandy.
