I know I had this problem at first too, but I am vague as to exactly
what I did. I recall it had to do with not having picked a default calendar
in the calendar app, but I am trying to remember what I did. If you still
have problems, let me know ans I'll sit down and try to dust the cobwebs out
of my mind.

OK I put several appointments in my calendar using Siri and I confirmed each
one and she said they were there. So this morning my first one is not there
and she said I have nothing scheduled for today. I have alerts on in the
notification center so I am very frustrated and wondering what to do. I
thought this was going to be so cool! I have the 4S and I have IOS6. Any
help will be appreciated.
