Yup. I too have the old version of Kindle for PC, but at this point, I rarely find myself having to use it with Codex. Either Bookshare or audio, but mainly if I want an eBook, I can usually score it from the library via Overdrive. At first I was downloading in Kindle format via the Amazon partnership with libraries until I realized that more often than not, you can download the same title in ePub format as well cutting out that entire process.
