Yes, but I didn’t mention it because it’s a sort of sub option of using a splitter and you can always use the splitter which has 2 Lightning ports since any new phone comes with Lightning Earpods and then get a 3.5mm to Lightning adapter which would allow you to use any 3.5mm headset with the splitter.
