Skype has included the ability to share a screen for a long time, but it was limited to computers. However, Microsoft is updating the Skype app for mobile devices to bring screen sharing to Android and iOS. The new screen sharing feature should come in handy in many situations, including when you need to do a last-minute presentation while on the go, you need to help someone use their phone remote, and more. In this guide, you'll learn the steps to share the screen using Skype for Android, iPhone, and iPad.

How to share Android, iPhone, iPad screen on Skype

Use these steps to share a mobile screen on Android or iOS using Skype:

1. Open Skype on Android, iPhone or iPad.
2. Start a video call with someone.
3. Tap the menu (three-dotted) button in the bottom-right corner.
4. Tap the Share screen button.
5. Tap the Start Broadcast button.

Once you complete the steps, the other person should be able to see your mobile screen. If you want to stop sharing the screen, simply select the screen sharing button. Screen sharing is supported on Android version 6.0 and above, and iPhone and iPad with Apple iOS 12 and above.
