You needed to allow the Facebook and Twitter widgets. Leas that's what I did. Then, they showed up in the notification center under the weather widget. You might look in the items not listed in the notification center section of Notifications in settings. Sometimes, things get put in that section that you want to hear from. If it's there, just tap it and it will return to the things that will show up in the notification center.
