I haven't done this in a while. but if I remember this correctly, the
dictation sound is controlled by the Siri volume. You can adjust Siri
volume any time by asking it something and adjusting the buttons on the
side while the Siri voice is speaking.

Hi all:
All of a sudden whenever I tap on the dictate button to dictate a
message I get a very faint ding instead of the ding I used to get.
Does anyone have any ideas why this would be or what I need to do to
fix it?
