Hi All, I actually have pretty good luck with the Grubhub app. Now I have to admit that I don't look around much at other restaurants because I have a few of my favorite things already ordered, and I just go to my orders and get them again. I do find it a bit sluggish on my IPad Air 2, but sometimes I think that is operator error.
I think once you order something, there is a space for a comment. It does say that if you make special requests that you might have to pay more. For my Chinese food I have put in a special notote that says "no msg please," and it seems to work. As far as timeliness, that probably depends on where you live. I live in the Washington DC suburbs, and delivery is good. In fact I get delivery from a couple of restaurants in 15 to 20 minutes after my order is placed. The first time I tried the Doordash app on my phone I had to give it up and go to Grubhub. It turns out that the button to go to your order is not labeled. When you are new to the app that is a bit disconcerting. You find it by swiping past all of the things on the bottom bar and then you will hear "button." That should be your orders.
