The only accessible external battery I've ever come across is from the Harbolt company. It wasn't cheep but works marvelously. It's a 15000 MA battery with two USBA ports for charging things plus a micro USB port for charging the battery itself. It vibrates and beeps to indicate the charge level as well as when things are successfully connected. Check it out at: www.harboltcompany.com
