My thoughts exactly. I kept my Series 2 and gave the Series 4 to my wife, since this is her first smart watch. Previously, she was getting the extremely cheap/budget watches from Amazon that cost $30, and usually did not last very long. She's thrilled with her new Series 4 watch. I'm content to wait until September to see what's announced, and then either get the new Series 5, or get the Series 4 at a discounted price.
