If you are in your Inbox and want to compose a new message you tap on "Compose" which is in the bottom right of the screen, you could simply do a 4-finger single tap in the bottom half of the screen which is the gesture which takes you to the last element on the screen and in this case that is the Compose button. Of course you can also touch the screen just above and to the right of the home button (if you have a home button of course). To reply to a message you have to either open that message and then look at the bottom of the screen near the centre, you'll find a button which you can tap and then choose to reply. Alternatively you can simply swipe down when you are in the message and as long as your rotor is turned to Actions you get several options and again Reply is one of them. The third way to reply to a message is to make sure the rotor is turned to Actions when you are in your inbox, once you are on the message you want to reply to you can swipe up or down to find that option, this would also be one of the easy ways to delete a message since that is also in that menu.
