Hi Anna,
Thanks as always for being so kind as to respond. Yes in my experience I was
told to tell all devices to which they were connected to forget them then press
the button on the back of the case for approximately 8 seconds to get them back
into pairing mode and then remember to rename them once paired with the new
device under their more info button in bluetooth devices.
Take good care.
Robin

Hi robin,

I think you just have to tell one of your devices to forget them, and they are
removed from your account.

Best,
Anna

  Hi
I thought I’d read somewhere that if you wanted to give your AirPods to
someone or sell them you couldn’t just tell your device to forget them you had
to remove them from find my iPhone. I’ve tried both on the find my iPhone app
on the phone and via the iCloud.com site using both JFW and NVDA from the
Windows side as I don’t have a mac and so far I’m coming up empty. Is any part
of this process accessible in any way to us?
Thanks for any light you could shed on this for me.
  Robin
