To show individual messages .. under settings make sure “organize by thread” is not checked ..
Not sure you can swap the order .. or the part of the message being displayed .. I haven’t seen that anywhere .. As for removing your account from the stock mail .. that shouldn’t have any impact on the actual mail in that account. As for the amount of mail .. that may be controlled by the exchange account .. mine goes back all the way to when my company moved to Outlook .. First, how do I get Outlook to show individual messages rather then group them by conversation? Is there a way to sort the messages in ascending order rather than have the most recent message on top? There is an option to get a few more at once, but that would take me forever to get over 160,000 messages, and I’d like to be able to use the app to organize all the older ones. Is there a way to have Outlook display the date and time a message was received? Now for two other questions, and they’re new ones. One deals with Outlook, and the other concerns the native mail app, and specifically deleting the accounts from it. My outlook question deals with hearing part of a message when I’m looking at it in the In Box. I don’t want that. All I want is to hear where it came from, the subject, and when it was received. If it appears to be something I’d like to read, I would then open it and read it for myself. As for the native mail app, what happens if I delete my accounts from it? I want to be sure that if I do delete the accounts, my email on my Exchange and I map servers won’t be deleted as well. If they would be removed, I would not be happy, because I would lose a very very large amount of messages that I want to examine. Most of these will be deleted, but some will be moved to the archive folder. Will I be safe removing the accounts from the native mail app? Thanks in advance for any help. Right now I have two email apps with similar information in them. I’m hoping to be able to switch from the native app to Outlook with minimal effort. Currently I’m using my PC to work with my messages, and until I can get Outlook on my iPhone configured the way I want, I’ll be continuing to use the native app to go through email when I’m out.
