I don’t have answers to your questions, but anybody who is considering buying Tiles may want to wait a couple of days since it is rumoured Apple will release something called Apple Tags which are essentially the same thing as Tiles, but they are fully integrated into iOS and the Apple eco-system hence probably provide better functionality, I assume will be accessible to use and of course maybe they will be more expensive coming from Apple. But it’s certainly worth keeping an eye on if you are into this sort of stuff.

I hope this upcoming ramble makes some sort of sense. I just got some tile pro tiles for my husband and a friend. When I press mine, the phone rings no matter what and I don’t have to have the tile app open. However, when I set one up for my husband’s phone it seems he must have the app open for the phone to ring, then go into the app switcher and close the tile app for it to stop. I can’t figure out what I may be missing to get his to work the way mine does. A sighted friend set mine up. I’d appreciate any advice. Also, I’ve somehow turned off background app refresh on his phone and can’t get it to toggle back on. Help there would be appreciated also. Boy, constant new challenges help us grow, I think. SMILE!
