Yes. However, filters should be done serverside and not on the client. I use Gmail on my phone and on multiple devices like Windows 10 laptops and Linux. I always configure filters and labels serverside which means I always have the same content in my Inbox and other folders/labels regardless of which device I use to access my gmail.
On my iPhone I use the Gmail app and on PC I use the gmail web interface. This email is composed using the web interface which works smoothly with both Chrome and Firefox.
