Hello, if you go into the watch app and tap on the image of the watch face you 
would like to use, you can customise the watch faces.

If you then choose the heart rate complication to be on the “middle” 
complication it will have more space on the watch and will show current heart 
rate.

Only when you chose one of the smaller complication spaces will it only show as 
a heart.
