Hi Wendy, Yup, this does take an engineering degree! I just got one too, and knew from this list that figuring it out was a bit complicated. But having triumphed, I'm glad to share what I figured out.
Here's what to do 1. The case arrives with the belt clip still attached. First remove this. 2. Next, the very outside of the case itself is a rubberized mold. Take this off. One way to do this is to go to the bottom edge of the case (where the connectors would be) and use a finger to push up on the rubber mold, detaching the part of the mold that would fit over the home key button. Then just peal the rest of the mold from the sides of the inner case. 3. Under this is a hard shell inner case. In the middle of each of the two long sides is a latch that joins the top and bottom covers. Release these latches by getting a fingernail under the bottom edge and pulling slightly up and out. 4. Now you can fit the phone in to the hard shell case and put it back together and then put the rubber mold back on. I hope this makes sense. Let me know if it doesn't and we could perhaps talk on the phone. Does anyone have instructions on how to take the case apart and then put it bac together on the new phone? Any help would be much appreciated.
