I find, that if I'm calling the pharmacy or doctor or somewhere, where I have to punch numbers, I have no problem with Bluetooth in my hearing aids, but if I just have the speaker on, I can't hear the numbers for the announcements directing me my punch options.

However, a friend of mine has upgraded his phone and was playing around with voice control and rather likes it. This raised the question of whether it is possible to enter a passcode to open your phone using voice control. He was trying to enter it using his finger to type the numbers, and voiceover said that it was the wrong passcode. That was because other numbers then when he was typing were being entered because he had voice control on. He has a six digit passcode. But he was getting notices that after four numbers, he had the wrong passcode entered. So, I wonder if it is possible to simply dictate the passcode if you have a voice control on. He did try it by simply saying his passcode numbers one after the other, but that apparently didn’t do anything. So he turned voice control off, and was able to enter his code. Still, if you were in the right environment where you did not care if anyone overheard you, saying the numbers would be cool. Plus, I would think this would be a really good thing for the primary audience for whom voice control is intended, that is, people who can’t really use the touchscreen well. Wouldn’t you want a way to be able to enter your voice code using voice control? Mary Sent from my iPhone -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
