Ok, to make it possible to see the delete button again, 1. Go to settings and open it. 2. Go down to passwords and accounts and open it. 3. Choose your account type--i.e. mine is gmail so I double tapped on it. 4. Then choose your account name i.e. [email protected] 5. Tap on Advance. 6. swipe down to the area where archive is selected, and swipe back once to tap on my deleted files.
Now when you go to delete all of the messages from a folder, the delete button shows at the bottom as "trash" or whatever your delted folder is called, and you just tap it.
