Welcome Mirrorin the VoiceOver from My MobilePhone over to the Watch
&
the VoiceOver voice on my MobilePhone is Apple's Alex, is that possible?

There are only two choices, to use it as is or
to turn on to use the current SIRI voice on your
phone. Unfortunately there seems to be a bug
because when I first did this it instantly
changed and for a day I had the female US SIRI
voice (the new one which is all synthetic), but
then I rebooted my watch and even though I am in
Canada it now talks with what I think is UK
Daniel and I can’t get it to change any more.
Somebody else confirmed the same behaviour to
me, when I go into Settings on the watch or
check in the watch app under Accessibility >
Voiceover it says that SIRI voice is on and on
the watch it says it needs to download and this
will happen if the watch is charging, but
yesterday I had it charging almost the entire
day while I was at work and nothing happens. I
mean no offense to all you Limies out there,
But I am not fond of Mr. Daniel and really would
love to get rid of him. I have already written
to Apple Accessibility yesterday and was
planning to call them today in case they have some sort of trick to do this.
My wife and I just received our series 5 Apple
Watches and while it’s a lot snappier and more
responsive than my series 2 watch I still find
it often locks while I am doing something, not
as often as my series 2 watch, but it still does
it and I’m super disappointed in that. I
really thought the latest hardware and WatchOS
and they should have figured this one out by now.
Also, Voiceover does not read Voice Recorder if
you select it as one of the complications and
while it first read “Home†which I selected
as another complication, now it doesn’t, when
you touch those complications or swipe to them
there is just silence, as in nothing.

Subject: Changing Voice Over Language with Apple Watch in Watch OS 6.
Hi All
I’ve just updated to Watch OS 6 and am looking
to change the language of Voice Over on the
watch. I can’t seem to find the option to
change the VO language on either the phone’s watch app, or the watch itself.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
Debbie
