Hi Vicky, I am trying to understand exactly what you are asking. What exactly doesn't work when you try to play music?
What are you doing and what do you want to do when you say "seems like things are still getting stuck in the app switcher after going to edit, etc"? If you are trying to take apps out of the app switcher, you bring up the app switcher with a quick double press of the home key. Then focus on one app and double tap and hold the screen anywhere until you hear a tri-tone and Voiceover says "Editing Apps". As soon as that happens lift your finger off the screen. Now slide your finger around or flick left or right until you are on an app you want to remove/delete from the app switcher. If you have hints turned on Voiceover will say "Double tap to delete". Double tap anywhere on the screen and the app will be removed. A quick way to empty your app switcher is to put your finger on the first app (on the very left) and then without lifting it tap the screen with a second finger (this is called a split tap). Just touch and lift again with the second finger, but don't move or lift up the first. If you do this, the app you are touching with the first finger is removed and the app to the right will slide over and under your finger. Split tap again by touching the screen with the second finger and that app will be gone. You can do this fairly fast and each time you tap with the second finger another app is deleted. This way if you have 10 or 15 apps in the app switcher you can get rid of them very fast. The trick is never to move or lift that first finger at the bottom left of the screen.
