I ran in to one that I had to fill in the fields consecutively and this
included the fields like second address where you would put in the apartment
number. If I didn't select the field it would not let me type in the city
name.

Usually this happens at the beginning of the process, but sometimes, if I
can’t get the edit field to work, I raise the page up and fill in what I
can, going backwards,, or, if nothing fills in, I leave Safari, close it out
of the app switcher, and then bring it up again, which lets me then fill in
the boxes. I’ve done this later option when at times I haven’t been able to
select text from a website to paste into a Mail message.

Make sure when you use check boxes that your keyboard is not on the
screen hide the keyboard and that’ll usually solve it.

I know some web forms are just a royal pain with any screen reader,
but with iOS in particular there are times I have to scroll beyond the field
or checkbox that is giving me fits and then work my way back to it by
flicking left and then it works.
Not always of course.
I have also found that some checkboxes just won’t work with VoiceOver
on and I have to toggle it off and get sighted help.

No, I have not upgraded to 13. I upgraded to IOS 12.4 just a couple
of weeks ago. I want to explain that I have been an iPhone user since 2011
and am quite familiar with using forms of all types. I have run in to a
strange situation though. Ever since upgrading to 12, I have not been able
to complete a form. I have tried several and different things seem to
happen. maybe a check box won't check or uncheck. maybe fields won't go in
to edit mode and just a bunch of weird stuff like this. I have never had
troubles like this before and wondered if there is something getting in the
way or what is going on. I have had a couple of other people try my phone
and there is definitely something going on but no one seems to know what.
Is there a setting that I don't know about? I can't hardly imagine this,
but this is really frustrating and I have never had this kind of trouble
before. Please help.
