I'm afraid not, my friend. The sharing feature has not yet been enabled, hence the prompt in the Messages app. Consequently, in the scenario I described, this feature is already off in the Messages Settings, area.

While a sighted, non-VoiceOver user can easily see that there is an "X" located near the prompt, allowing the user to permanently dismiss the prompt, VoiceOver does not speak this option. 6. Assuming that the VoiceOver user does not wish to share name and photo, he/she can single-finger swipe up on the display, repeatedly, until VoiceOver says, "Dismiss." However, this option does not work. Selecting the "dismiss" option has absolutely no effect on the actual prompt, itself as it continues to be displayed. It should be noted that having the prompt continuing to be displayed does, in fact, impact the functionality of the Messages app for the VoiceOver user. At present, the only workaround is to disable VoiceOver and have a sighted person tap the "X", permanently dismissing the prompt. I fervently request that this bug be resolved as soon as possible.
