With all braille displays, the sequence used when connecting or disconnecting is critical. Basically, your display should be on when you either lock or unlock your iPhone. then, they should reconnect automatically. If you, for example, turn off your braille display while the phone is unlocked, there is a very good chance you will have to forget it and pair it again the next time. So, when you want to use the braille device with your phone, turn it on while the phone is locked, then unlock the phone. It may take a few seconds, but they should connect easily. When you are done, lock the phone first, then turn off the display. My Orbit Reader 20 connects flawlessly this way. So a device costing nearly 10 times that should work as well.
Richard Always look out for #1, and be careful not to step in #2. On Oct 5, 2019, at 9:24 PM, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: I am able to pair these devices easy enough. However, I have trouble with subsequent pairings. The only way I have been able to do it is to erase the braillesense on iphone and start from scratch. I would like a more seamless connection. Any thoughts on how to make it happen would be greatly appreciated. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
